job description

Provide purchasing of all required material for manufacturing in a cost effective and timely manner, following established company guidelines and accepted policies.

Responsibilities:

Maintain required record keeping demonstrating compliance with company policies and cost savings. All duties performed with a positive and respectful and professional attitude

Working hours: 7 AM - 4 PM

Skills:

Associates degree in industrial technology, business, purchasing management disciplines or 5 years on the job training. Experience with computer operations and programs, ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, knowledge of plant products and processes, familiarity with contractual agreements, working knowledge of hazardous materials, familiar with standard chemical plant equipment. Forklift certification is required.
