The 3PL team lead will be responsible for developing a comprehensive project plan to assure specified deliverables are achieved within defined timelines and varied project objectives as outlined in 3 PL Directives.


  • Develop project requirements and scope for the 3PL transition and implementation. Manage and report out on key project milestones, tasks, scope, timelines and risks impacting the project

  • Work with the central UTAS Logistics team to define optimal and efficient layouts, processes, and flows -including definition and design of logistics areas (warehouse areas, supermarkets, kitting and sequencing areas, line delivery)

  • Define work-plans, timelines and deliverables and monitor project status including status reporting.

  • Manage issue resolution and escalation and ensure delivery of project targets for logistics improvement initiatives are reported to management.

  • Work with cross functional team on processes/ flow optimization of parts coming from 3PL provider to onsite operations.

  • Develop standard operating procedures and work instructions for logistics functions/ activities.

  • Develop KPI metrics to measure the success of the 3PL delivery performance.

  • Develop plan for communicating to all key stakeholders progress on the project.
