We're looking for an experienced systems engineer to oversee the design, coding, deployment, care, and feeding of our documentation and user assistance infrastructure, including virtual machines, and the servers and services that host our REST APIs, writer build tools, portals, and continuous integration systems.

We're looking for an experienced systems engineer to oversee the design, coding, deployment, care, and feeding of our documentation and user assistance infrastructure, including virtual machines, and the servers and services that host our REST APIs, writer build tools, portals, and continuous integration systems.

qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or related experience

  • 4+ years demonstrated expertise in the following:

skills: Required Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or related experience

  • 4+ years demonstrated expertise in the following:

  • Building highly scalable systems

  • Continuous integration and deployment using Jenkins or similar

  • Automating system deployment and configuration updates using Ansible or similar

  • Elastic Beanstalk

  • Advanced low-level Linux system administration

  • Cloud infrastructure (AWS or similar)

  • Content delivery networks (Akamai or similar)

  • Agile/Scrum/Lean development methodology experience

  • Comfort tackling new projects and technologies both individually and as part of a team
