We have a 6 month contract opportunity for a Marketing Specialist in San Francisco, CA.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities

The Specialist will be an integral part of the development and execution of marketing plans from brand awareness to service line promotion and customer acquisition.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with marketing team members, external agencies, and internal stakeholders to plan and execute assigned marketing initiatives

  • Undertake individual tasks of a marketing plan as assigned; obtain necessary review and approval from internal stakeholders

  • Deliver all projects and tasks on time

Requirements

  • Proven experience as marketing specialist or similar role

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and tight deadlines

  • Exceptional communication and client relations skills - in person, by phone and by email

  • Ability to work in an interactive and friendly manner with a variety of stakeholders and team members, including senior leadership

  • Ability to effectively complete projects in a timely manner with minimal supervision

  • Ability to influence without direct control or authority

  • Well-organized and detail-oriented self-starter

  • Previous health care, not-for-profit or service business experience desired but not required

  • Fluency in the MS Office suite, specifically Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook

  • BA in marketing, communications or equivalent

Additional Details:

Experience executing complex marketing projects; the ability to take direction and then manage time and resources to accomplish goals (self-directed execution skills); ability to interact with colleagues outside of marketing to gather and act on information needed to execute deliverables; critical thinking skills; able to work within a fast-paced environment and not be rattled by changing goals and priorities mid-stream (flexibility and adaptability); experience working with cross-functional teams; organized and detail-oriented; prior health care experience a plus, but not required.
