Logistic Administrative Assistant
Support truckload, flatbed, reefer, and LTL customers by sourcing capacity for their needs. You will be responsible for building carrier
relationships and negotiating with them daily to support customer capacity and service requirements. Monitors competitive activity, and
identifies customer needs.
Phone and e-mail contact with FTL carriers to solicit available equipment
Post available loads to various Load Boards to solicit equipment
Negotiate rates with carriers
Issue load confirmations timely to carrier to confirm capacity and price
Confirm tender acceptance
Comply with carrier selection and compliance policies
Update shipment status in computer system and communicate updates to customer, sales, and customer service teams as needed
Source LTL carriers and negotiate rates
Support sales team with RFQ pricing
Provide back-up to fellow team members as needed for customer billing, vendor payables, and check calls
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
