Sales / Account Manager

Permanent position: Large Valve Manufacturer is seeking an "Inside Valve Sales-Large Projecs" professional for their Houston office: This person with report directly to the Inside Valve Sales Manager. All QUALIFIED Candidates MUST have inside sales valve supply (Gate,Globe,Check,Ball) experience.

Responsibilities for the Sales / Account Manager

  • Review each inquiry in detail; coordinate and execute all aspects of the inquiry

  • Receive multiple customer phone call inquiries per

  • Deal directly with our valve manufacturers on price, delivery and special requirements for long lead items; Communicate with the Outside Sales team and work together on the follow up process

  • Communicate to Outside Sales individuals on RFQ activity and work with them to gain key information; Work on upfront documentation requirements that need to be submitted with quotation

  • Place orders received with after sales detailing and explaining all customer requirements; Communicate to Outside Sales individuals order status

Requirements for the Sales / Account Manager

  • MUST have over 5+ years of Inside Valve Sales experience, preference to those who have worked extensively for valve manufacturers, and MUST have experience with Large Projects sales

  • Plug-n-Play valve sales experience, MUST have Gate,Globe,Check, Ball Valve sales experience with a Manufacturer

  • Prefers candidates with a Bachelor Degree (likes technical majors in Engineering, Business, etc) , but will consider candidates with relevant industry experience

  • Understanding of all aspects of the quotations/sales process

  • Must be experienced in both Microsoft Excel, Word, preference to those that are experienced in Accuterm or other ERP systems
