Machine Operator

As a machine operator you will set up and operate a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. You will read and interpret blueprints and diagrams to select, position, and secure machinery. You will be on your feet throughout your shift and will need to move swiftly to complete tasks in a timely manner, while always maintaining a focus on safety.

Working hours: 12:00 AM - 12:00 AM


-Must be able to load/unload raw materials for core production. Need to be able to monitor and document pull force, speed, temperature consistency, and resin level. In charge of notifying qualified individuals of any discrepancies or core or improper material feeding. Must have keen observation and attentiveness to machine and core in order to detect and prevent possible malfunctions (audible and visual) and are responsible for recognizing and alerting supervisors of anything unusual.

-Effectively execute shift changes to minimize down time

-Maintain quality standards by examining products and workmanship to verify conformance of specifications on an hourly basis.

-Read and interpret gauges. Complete process control logs according to current specifications.

-Maintain a safe environment and concentration over a long period of time


-High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

-Ability to speak and read English effectively. Capable of signaling direction or warnings to others.

-Ability to read and interpret safety rules.

-Ability to stoop and bend. Must be able to stand for an 8-10 hour shift.

-Use of hands and arms to lift, handle, pour, clean, install, and position materials and tools/machinery, and to otherwise manipulate things.

-Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
