What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Contribute to the development of new processes and programs that add value to our clients' supply chain

  • Directly oversee and support development and deployment of the Lean Management platform for selected supply chain sites

  • Conceptualize a future state in relatable terms to site operations teams and executive leaders, and develop the change management plan to implement effectively and efficiently

  • Serve as a change agent for culture change and the use of leadership standard work at all levels of the organization

  • Track overall progress of CVA (Client Value - Added) deployment program related to stated goals, particularly around cost savings and training targets

  • Report revenue growth, site deployment and project execution progress using standard reporting templates

  • Provide professional services, solution design and consulting in supply chain innovation

What you need to succeed at Our Company:

At a minimum, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience

  • 10 years of progressive experience in supply chain management in a distribution center environment or a related field

  • Experience leading large scale, multi-site and/or multi-regional transformational supply chain projects

  • Advanced experience with Lean tools such as value stream mapping, 5S, standard work, 5 Why Analysis, etc.

  • Advanced experience with analytical tools such as flow charts, Pareto charts, cause and effect diagrams, run charts, etc.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Advanced knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma tools as well as change management techniques

  • Proven leadership and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively supervise, coach, and influence employees

  • Ability to travel 75% or more of the time as needed, occasionally on short notice

It'd be great if you also have:

  • Lean Expert and/or Six Sigma Blackbelt certified; or Lean Master

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present clean, organized, and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience

  • Ability to perform complex analysis of data, processes, policies, procedures and/or systems; produce unambiguous, comprehensive and accurate interpretations

  • Strong project and time management skills with ability to multitask and manage customer expectations

  • Excellent interpersonal and management skills; ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and get along with diverse personalities
