Randstad Technologies is seeking a qualified Senior Applications Architect for an opportunity with a technology company located in Dallas, TX

In this role you will collaborate with software engineers, business and technology leaders, product owners, other stakeholders, IT and systems engineers to understand strategic business goals and design technical solutions that satisfy accomplish those goals.

This person will bring a deep understanding in multiple business and architecture domains and be well-versed in emerging technologies and trends. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills necessary to articulate the value of a strong application architecture function to critical business stakeholders.

  • An accomplished architect and designer with deep understanding of J2EE, Opensource, Cloud and related technologies.

  • Builds the long-term strategic roadmap for all application architecture

  • Keep abreast about CI/CD advances

  • Leads the design and modeling of tactical architectures for delivery, development, and support of projects

  • Partners with other solution architects to provide a consensus-based scalable and adaptable architectural solution

  • Provide strategic technology directions for each component team in order to ensure required level of functionality and performance, and to manage risk, improve reliability, ensure compliance with risk policy and audit requirements.

  • Develops and maintains policies, standards, and guidelines to ensure that a consistent framework is applied across the company

  • Hands-on software development and scripting to implement Cloud Proof-of-Concepts, automation and orchestration

  • Manages and facilitates a review board to evaluate project proposals for architectural fit

  • Monitors new technological advances in application development and information technologies

  • Demonstrates digital opportunities to business partners and other business units

  • Circulates roadmaps to align engineering priorities with business partner as required

  • Applies a customer experience lens to application architecture activities

  • Facilitates digital strategy decisions and provide digital business model consulting

  • Partner directly with product managers, customer solution architects and QA to develop, design, implement and maintain applications.

  • Partners with business and technology subject-matter experts to elicit and translate business requirements into technological solutions


  • Deep and practical understanding as well as significant and fresh hands-on development experience in various key cloud and data engineering technologies - orchestration, high scale data pipelines and distributed systems

  • Comprehensive knowledge of hardware, software, application, and systems engineering

  • Experience in application and/or product feature design

  • Demonstrated experience with business process and performance modeling, benchmarking, and financial analysis

  • Hands-on programming skills with Java and either Angularjs, Springboot, ReactNode.JS/JavaScript, Python, MVC/MVVM frameworks or C#

  • Experience building enterprise architecture roadmaps

  • Proven experience working with cross-browser/cross-device development

  • Expert knowledge and multi-year hands-on experience of AWS Platform

  • Demonstrable Experience with REST/API-based applications, microservices, container technologies as Docker, Openshift, CoreOS, Weave, Kubernetes


  • Experience in web standards & technologies (ex. HTTP, REST, SOAP, JSON and XSD documents)

  • Expert knowledge and multi-year hands-on experience of AWS Platform

  • Experience in CI techniques for UI
