Benefits Call Center Representatives

Randstad, in partnership with a Fortune 100 company, is actively recruiting two Benefits Call Center Representatives to work at our client's corporate headquarters, in Columbus. Responsibilities:

What you will be doing:

The Call Center Representative provides excellent customer service to employees contacting their internal Associate Service Center. Under general supervision this person will respond to eligibility and enrollment questions about employee benefits/compensation programs, including but not limited to: life, health, and disability insurance, medical/dependent flexible spending accounts, COBRA, paid time off, leaves of absence, and retirement plans. Support of payroll related questions, on-boarding troubleshooting and data entry for address changes and tax withholding will also be performed.

In addition to following the company's policies and procedures, principal responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

? Assist with navigation of self service products, answer any questions regarding time off, benefits or payroll, as well as manually process benefits enrollment when necessary.

? Performing research when necessary to address employee?s questions.

? Re-directing questions to the appropriate internal departments for resolution by subject matter experts

? Escalating issues to the Associate Service Center Supervisor for resolution

? Ensuring that proper documentation is prepared or obtained in order to enter/correct employee data in Workday

? Assisting field employees with Workday related questions, as needed

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:

The ideal candidate will:

--Have B.A./B.S in a related field, preferred

--Have Benefits, Human Resources, or related experience preferred

--Prior experience with Absence/ Payroll information

--Have knowledge of Benefit programs including life, health, and disability insurance, medical/dependent flexible spending accounts, COBRA, paid time off, leaves of absence, and retirement plans, a huge plus!

--Previous experience with Customer Service or in a Call Center

--Possess excellent customer service skills and the ability to prioritize

--Have excellent math skills for benefits calculations, account reconciliation's and pay calculations

--Have excellent attention to detail along with strong proofreading skills

--Have knowledge of and the ability to use a PC as well as Microsoft Office Suite (mainly Excel)

--Knowledge and experience with Workday is preferred.

--Be able to handle difficult conversations in a calm and respectful manner
