Financial Recruiter

Randstad Professionals specializes in placing contract and contract to hire Human Resources talent in the Chicagoland area. Our team helps over 1000 professionals start and grow their career each year. We have an immediate opportunity for a Financial Recruiter on a contract basis in downtown Chicago that will support a major client.

Recruiter Job Duties

  • Create and own sourcing strategy by working with HRBP manager, local resources, and talent management.

  • Make recommendations to revise strategy when needed.

  • Maintain all job descriptions.

  • Complete required state/federal posting of opening.

  • Using resources identified in the sourcing strategy, source all candidates through advertisements, employee referrals, networking, social media, etc.

  • Complete initial screen and make recommendations to local resource for on-site interviews.

  • Schedule interviews.

  • Prepare and send offer and declination letters/email to applicants.

  • Work with recruiting coordinator to send request to third party for background investigation and to schedule physical/drug screen.

  • Maintain and distribute onboarding information to plant/branch.

Ideal Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree required. Functional certification/coursework preferred (Lean Recruiting, Recruiter Certification, etc.)

  • Experience working on Corporate Accounting roles and other Accounting and Finance positions.

  • Knowledge of state and federal regulatory requirements for employee selection. Experience using multiple recruiting sources to locate candidates.

  • Able to clearly articulate client's employee value proposition, mission, and values in a way to attract and hire high quality candidates. Proficient in cultivating and building relationships. Able to assess and judge talent. Strong sales skills and customer-service focus.

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) at all levels of the organization. Strong organizational skills, including time management. Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities. Ability to work independently and with a team. Experience driving process improvement.

  • Proficient in client's applicant tracking system (Taleo - Enterprise Edition).

  • Experienced at sourcing passive candidates, able to conduct database searches and use social media effectively.

Salary Range & Benefits

  • $30-35/hr, depending on experience
