Randstad Professionals have an excellent opportunity with a Major Financial Institution in Charlotte, NC.

We are searching for someone at the SME level for Money Transfer System (MTS).

Money Transfer System (MTS) experience required

This Position will:

  • provide consultation and recommendations on appropriate implementation strategy methods and plans for initiatives that typically impact multiple and/or complex systems, workflow, or products with moderate risk.

  • This role will lead the development of business requirements, manage implementation resources, tasks and budgets, identify and negotiate resolution of issues (escalating as necessary), and ensure task completion according to established timelines.

  • This position may research existing business processes and tools to evaluate if control designs are appropriate and functioning as intended.

  • Based on their findings, they will be expected to identify best practices and develop a business case to recommend new workflows and/or procedures.

  • They may also train and provide guidance to less experienced staff.

Duties will include writing requirements, problem solving, conducting research, collecting data to support requirements, and organizing communications for approval of project documentation. This position will also be involved in identifying inefficiencies in processes, developing ideas for improvement, and for owning the ideas from ideation to implementation.

Requirements:

  • 3+ year of experience in one or a combination of the following: administrative support, project management, implementation, business operations or strategic planning in financial services

  • Money Transfer System (MTS) experience required

  • Project management experience

  • Knowledge and understanding of wire transfer processes

  • Experience communicating with business partners and project managers

  • Ability to develop operational reporting and performing complex data analysis

  • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities

  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and creative problem solving techniques

  • Ability to identify and evaluate trends, isolate root cause, and provide swift/thorough resolution

  • Ability to identify key issues, involve affected parties, design solutions, obtain buy-in, and communicate effectively through resolution

  • Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment

  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities

  • Ability to prepare presentations, management reporting, and statistical analysis

  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment

  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access) skills

  • Extensive technical writing skills

  • Knowledge and understanding of risk management, in financial services

  • Knowledge and understanding of technology support: System including business requirement design or review, release management support, test script development and execution, and system issue resolution

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

responsibilities:

More specifically, this position is responsible for:

  • Acting as a liaison between Wire Transfer Operations and multiple technology areas on the implementation of projects including: development and review of requirements, planning, conducting, and completing an analysis of moderately complex business problems, defect resolution, and implementation

  • Collaborating closely with leadership, product managers, Legal & Compliance contacts, and other areas within the enterprise

  • Providing technical assistance in identifying and evaluating systems and related procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirements

  • Helping to facilitate the communication for approvals required during the project lifecycle and the implementation of initiatives

  • Acting as a change agent leveraging company change management processes and disciplines

  • Working with user groups to provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs and recommend changes to systems

  • Working efficiently and effectively in a self-directed and independent manner

  • Participating in audits/reviews

  • Gathering data and preparing necessary reports

  • Updating reports and databases used by the client group

Additional responsibilities may include:

  • Acting as an internal consultant within technology and business groups by using quality tools and process definition/improvement to re-engineer technical processes for greater efficiencies

  • Other duties as assigned
