There has been a web based tool developed. It has various features - all focusing on planning and managing electronics for long life cycle support. The tool interfaces with multiple databases. It allows Component teams to enter their plans/data into, and system/product teams to run reports based of the data entered by component teams. It is designed with .NET framework, and being developed by a third party.
The job description is to:
Support Component & System teams for any issues surrounding the tool - General Tool Support.
Gather requirements/enhancement ideas, and work with development team to get them developed, reviewed, tested and deployed to production environment.
General project management
Engage with development team to review their designs and provide design improvement feedback when necessary
When needed, make minor modification to the tool and data
Market the tool and provide training sessions to users
Data analysis - to ensure validity of the data.
Work with individuals to develop new features of tool
Be the Expert in the interface marketing tool
present charts and data to groups
