The Business System Process Analyst will support the Recovery business processes with his/her participation in the following Business Rule Management (BRM) activities to support ongoing system migration efforts:
Support analysis and design, development, testing and implementation of business rules to support Recovery business processes and account/customer level treatments.
Maintain business rules (tables, security levels, system files, system configuration and workflows) and validate quality and timeliness of business rules execution (system data, input/output files, test results)
Support existing project team with the following key contributions:
° review business requirements to clearly understand business need
° research and complete the necessary system analysis and design to translate business needs into effective system and business rule solutions. Expected to be an engaged participant with the test of the team to evaluate alternatives and propose solution design recommendations
° document functional specifications, complete business rule code development and execute unit/integrated testing of agreed changes while supporting a 100% traceable end to end process
° support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) team to independently validate system changes
° Coordinate and validate the successful deployment of business rule changes to the test and ultimately production environment.
Analyze system data in an expeditious and meticulous manner to troubleshoot defects or issues. Based on the analysis, the analyst will be expected to identify root cause, make recommendations, document and implement system/workflow changes to support resolution.
Participate, and at times facilitate, Recovery Business Rule Management scoping and timeline meetings.
Document business processes, support business rule maintenance lifecycle and deliverables communicate changes and provide timely updates to project team and group managers warranted.
Bachelor s degree preferred in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field plus experience in Technical Analysis, Business System Analysis or related disciplines.
Minimum 2 - 5 years of business/technical system analysis experience
Experience with IBM Operational Decision Management (ODM) tool or similar business rule system a plus.
Experience in supporting system conversion efforts preferred.
Experience in the Credit Card Industry
Agile Testing experience within ALM
Experience with PEGA tool or similar system a plus
Financial institution background a plus
Analysis capabilities, specific detail, accomplishment or result, (basically a quantification)
