The primary responsibility of the technical writers would be the creation of educational materials in collaboration with functional and technical teams. Under the supervision of the Project Manager, and in close collaboration with Functional, Development and Product teams as needed, the technical writer will:

  • Prepare the following categories of the documents including but not limited to: (i) Guidance Notes, (ii) User manuals, (iii) Training Materials for support teams and end users, (iv) Frequently asked questions (FAQ) materials, (v) Short duration videos.

  • Review libraries of guidelines and procedures in the categories indicated above and Support the revision of information in the above categories for simplicity, clarity, completeness based on best practices.

  • Support the Team in the implementation of the roll out a plan of revised content.

III. Activities and Deliverables

The two technical writers are expected to work within specified Service Level Agreements (SLAs) standards to provide quality materials by performing the following activities:

  • Coordinating with technical, functional, product and support teams to acquired necessary information in preparation of documentation.

  • Preparing (i) Guidance Notes, (ii) User manuals, (iii) Training Materials for support teams and end users, (iv) Frequently asked questions (FAQ) materials, (v) Short duration videos.

  • Producing training materials to educate support teams and end users about upcoming or recent changes.

  • Performing necessary revisions of existing documentation after analysis of upcoming user requests, repeated tickets, and calls, and frequently asked questions.

  • Making sure that the produced documentation is client oriented and efficiently support users in utilizing solutions provided by ITSOP unit.

The specialists need to understand and effectively operate in a complex environment from project start to completion, managing variables. The technical writers are expected to have the following qualifications:

  • Excellent writing and editing skills, and experience of presenting complex technical information in an easily comprehensible way for non-specialist readers.

  • Technical knowledge in the areas of content management and excellent drafting skills on policies and procedures.

  • Fluency in English is critical.

  • Ability to gather information and provide analysis between teams to achieve common results.

  • Strong analytical, judgmental skills.

  • Ability to work in a demand-driven environment, motivated by a willingness to respond rapidly and effectively to the needs.

  • Skills to listen actively and respond effectively.

  • Capacity to use initiative to deliver required outputs and planned results.

  • Independent assessment and integrity

  • Experience and knowledge of the Company Bank Group are desirable and familiarity with Company procedures is, in particular, highly desirable.
