Duration: 6 month contract to Hire.
The Officer, Integration (Cloud Integration Architect), is a member of the Application Operations unit of Information Technology, and has responsibility for strategy, designing, developing, implementing and supporting cross-application integration to support relevant business processes using enterprise application integration (EAI) tools. This position requires significant use of initiative and independent judgment in supporting technology operations and diverse projects and initiatives with internal stakeholders, external consultants and third-party vendors.
The Officer, Integration (Cloud Integration Architect), reports to the Manager, Application Operations (DevOps and Agile Delivery).
Primary point of subject matter expertise with responsibility for the overall integration of the institution s various cloud/SaaS and on-premises applications. Provide expertise, technical knowledge and nuanced understanding of architecture, application systems design and integration across multiple enterprise applications.
Work closely with the Senior Officer, Technical Design, to define the institution s strategy for application integration and to create a related road map. Execute incremental tasks in support of this strategy.
Gather business requirements to develop system integration. Translate business requirements and specifically integration requirements into simple and efficient integration technical design.
Deliver integration services in an agile delivery methodology. Follow standard development methods covering the full software development life cycle (planning, analysis, design, development, testing, deployment and support) to ensure solution quality and consistency of process.
Lead ongoing efforts to ensure integration solution design is compliant with the architecture and standards of the organization.
Decompose integration scenarios into data flow diagrams and functional / technical specifications by taking into account software and system capabilities while promoting reuse, services-based integrations, maintainability and efficiency.
Develop, implement and support business event and workflow processes.
Develop orchestrations, Web Services, SQL scripts, Conversions, and Data Extracts using standard tools including Cast Iron and Salesforce Data Loader. Develop a detailed design and customized configuration / code to support business processes and procedures. Engineer and develop technical solutions based on those designs.
Analyze and monitor integration support issues.

Bachelor s degree required.
Minimum of eight years of experience integrating software applications, both in real-time and batch. Experience integrating Salesforce or Workday or Microsoft applications preferred. Demonstrated understanding of modern enterprise architecture and hands-on experience with enterprise application integration middleware and platforms.
Five or more years of experience in software integration and enterprise-level data architecture for both cloud-based/software-as-a-service (SaaS) and on-premises software applications, including experience with at least one integration platform (e.g., Dell Boomi, Cast Iron, Informatica Cloud), with a preference for Cast Iron experience.
Five or more years of experience working with web services and/or application programming interfaces (APIs), including experience building interfaces to transfer data across multiple enterprise systems.
Experience defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing/prototyping solutions and testing and implementing cross-application integration in a deadline-driven. Experience supporting the full software development life cycle, including conversance with agile methodologies.
Able to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced professional environment. Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion
Keen problem-identification and -solving capability.
Able to articulate complex technical problems in layman s language to a non-technical audience.
Experience working with vendors and third-party consultants, including responsibility for oversight of related deliverable s.
