Randstad Staffing currently has an opening for an Administrative Assistant at one of the world's leading investment management companies in Scottsdale, AZ.This is a temporary to hire position with the possibility of going permanent based on performance.This is a professional corporate work environment.Salary range is $23-$25/hr.

Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:

-Maintains accurate calendar for Principal/Department Head, and other Directs as assigned.

-Answers department phones and responds to internal and external calls

-Schedules meetings for department personnel

-Organizes & coordinates meetings (sometimes video conferences)

-Makes travel arrangements

-Types and/or prepares memos, correspondence, reports, meeting minutes, presentations, etc.

-Uses a variety of software applications including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes

-Orders and inventories department office supplies as needed

-Coordinates various events within the business unit

-Establishes and maintains files for the business unit

-Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

-H.S. diploma, Undergraduate degree is preferred

-A minimum of two years administrative experience supporting a medium to large size department

-Three to five years of corporate experience is preferred

-Knowledge of a variety of software applications:word processing, spreadsheets, database, email, and presentation software

-Must have knowledge of Excel, Word and Power Point

-Knowledge of Lotus Notes (versus Outlook) and Access is a plus

Hours:

Monday-Friday:8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (little flexibility around business hours)
