E-Business Consultant

Duration: 6 months to perm

Business Unit: Wholesale Intranet Team, Business Partner Solutions

Job Description: Serves as an advocate for the lines of business (LOBs) and end users with respect to all intranet offerings: Portals, Collaboration, etc.


Responsibilities include both large projects and ongoing maintenance, working both independently and as part of cross-functional teams. Requires ability to work on several projects at once in a fast-paced environment.

Works with technical, business, and user experience teams, project managers, and senior managers to:

  • Connect technology to people and process to improve the way we work, focusing on continual improvement to the customer experience.

  • Serve as a Relationship Manager to understand business teams, customer serving roles and practices as an integrated business partner focused on improving how they work.

  • Responsible for successful launches and ongoing release support to the line teams, marketing services, developing and maintaining strong communication ties, building relationships, managing partnerships, and working with senior level technology/project managers.

  • Deliverables include building LOB strategies/plans for each group, assisting with requirements, ensuring quality rollouts and maximum utilization of the tools.

  • Provide direction and input on strategies, project management and issue tracking based on feedback with respect to rollouts/launches.

Required Skills:

ยจ 5+ years experience in communications

  • Experience with and a good understanding of technology

  • Excellent verbal, written, negotiation and influencing skills

  • Team player and collaborator with demonstrated success in leading, influencing and building strong internal/external business relationships in a heavily matrixed organization

  • Superb communication skills, with ability to articulate verbally in large group settings as well as one-on-one

  • Proven results in developing and documenting wed-specific goals to ensure they map to business objectives

  • Familiarity with Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Preferable Skills:

  • Line experience as one of the following: Relationship Manager (RM), Relationship Associate (RA), Treasury Management Sales Consultant (TMSC), Sales Analyst (RA), Customer Service Manager (CSM).

  • SharePoint knowledge
