Client is seeking a Change Management & Communications Specialist to join the Corporate Marketing team. The primary focus of the role will be on change management, with a secondary focus on organizational communications. Working closely with those who are responsible for Training and ensuring people are properly trained will also be a major part of the role.

The role works cross-functionally with various teams and groups to drive Digital Marketing initiatives and stakeholder engagement. The role will be responsible for:

  • Leading change management and communications for all major programs

  • Managing Digital Marketing Academy (virtual and in-person).

This role is best suited for a high-achiever with proven ability to contribute individually as well as part of a results-focused, cross-functional team. Excellent writing skills and attention to detail are a must, along with a good sense of humor and positive attitude.

This position is based in San Francisco.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Build the communication strategy with effective messaging and tailored tactics for all Marketing Programs.

  • Deliver timely communication activities and tasks throughout all Phases ensuring functions and departments are prepared to successfully adopt new programs, new systems, new technologies and also new processes.

  • Providing a structured change management methodology and leading change management activities will be a key responsibility of the role. Which will include, but not limited to:.

  • Conducting stakeholder analysis, readiness assessments, evaluating results, and presenting findings.

  • Developing change management plans - including communication plans, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, and resistance management plan.

  • Executing the change management plans and/or supporting the project teams in the execution of change management plans.

  • Creating and managing measurement systems to track adoption, utilization, and proficiency of individual changes.

  • Identifying resistance and performance gaps and working to develop and implement corrective actions.

  • Working with project teams to integrate change management activities into the overall project plan.

  • Assess current change management capabilities and maturity.

  • Identify key change agents to assist with the change effort across the organization.

  • Determine scope of change effort required for each project..

  • Evaluate change effort and work independently, or as part of a team, to create and/or assist with the design and development of a prioritized, future-state roadmap for implementation; includes a business case and ROI.

  • Develop utilization goals and tools to measure utilization and rate of change.

  • Create and execute communication and change management plans and tools.

  • Develop and implement the training strategy to support continuing training efforts as we lead our marketing teams through innovations over the coming years.

  • Will be responsible for assisting in the development of curriculum on the use of marketing Technologies and Best Practices. You will work with external and internal SMEs to build the curriculum.

  • Responsible for delivering in-person and online training classes in classroom, video, and interactive formats.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to work on multiple programs

  • 5-8 years of relevant agency or in-house experience.

  • Self directed with strong ability to prioritize

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Excellent active listening skills

  • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences

  • Must be able to work to tight deadlines and react quickly to changing priorities

  • A good team player, ability to work cross functionally

  • Relationship building skills.

  • Ability to work in a matrixed organization.

  • Demonstrated experience in implementing supporting training and communications plans for large scale IT services and Marketing projects

  • Demonstrated success in identifying, analyzing, and addressing the risks and anticipated points of resistance associated with large scale organizational change and transformation

  • Excellent attention to detail - flawless copywriting, editing and proofreading skills.

  • Strong organizational, project, time management and problem-solving skills. - Experience with developing and delivering computer-based training (CBT)

  • Knowledge of healthcare and pharmaceutical industry preferred, but not required.
