Triage, Investigate and remediate issues impacting website and customers
Triage, Investigate and remediate issues around business tools
Coordinate and manage support activities working with multiple teams including business, product, engineering, QA and operations.
Be the point of contact for business and operations team for production issues.
Carry out data analysis by writing SQL queries and using BI reports
Build utilities and tools to help reduce time to investigate issues
Build monitors and alerts around major pain points on the site.
Provide all the issue analysis to respective, product managers devops and dev teams for fixing the root cause of the issues
Deliver support responsibilities; includes influencing technical work done by DevOps
Trouble-shoots mission critical problems under time bound situations.
Builds partnerships and maintains cohesive relationships.
Performs well in aggressive schedule and accomplishing ad-hoc goals.
Transition new features development from the dev team.
Be the local point of contact for all technical support needs and work closely with the global support team
Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor s degree in computer science is a must.
Knowledge of Jira is a must
2-4 years experience in supporting web applications and tools
Experience working in a retail e-commerce environment preferred
Knowledge of SOA and various architectural design patterns
Experience with merchandizing tools and technologies preferred
Experience with Perl and/or UNIX shell scripting will be preferred.
Experience in building/implementing high performance & a scalable system is a plus.
Knowledge of standard tools for optimizing and testing code.
Ability to operate effectively and independently in a dynamic, fluid environment
Eagerness to change the world in a huge way by being a self-motivated learner and builder
