Facilitate IT Portfolio Planning including project prioritization and decisions on scope, schedule and budget.
Modify processes for PMO as necessary and create templates to aid with project management as necessary and identifying gaps in the current structure/process (rare occurrence).
Maintain content of IT Health & Readiness SharePoint site.
Prepare content presentation for recurring meetings.
Prepare estimates of future benefits, quantify the financial impact of specific actions, or estimate the achievability of project objectives.
Prepare financials and justification documents to receive approval from steering committee.
Prepare and distribute Initiative status presentation for recurring meetings with senior management (i.e. Operating Committee or Executive Steering Committee).
Provide guidance in an advisory role to project managers regarding initiative decisions, brainstorm potential solutions to solve issues.
Review drafts of key documents such as project submission documents, project plan, resource conflict, communication plans, etc.
Ensure project deliverables are implemented according to project plan s milestones and timeline.
Support through material preparation ad-hoc requests coming from senior management.
Oversee the risks and issues of the initiative.
Assist in the oversight and management of project managers.
Participate in external contractor interviews and assessments.
