The Lab Coordinator Software Engineer position services the equipment and processes necessary to support Latitude Communicator, Systems, and Sub-Systems testing activities by driving procurement, setup, and maintenance of custom hardware and software components both on and off-shore. Provides leadership and oversight with all lab activities, including development of automated software tools, server administration, equipment calibration and controls, as well as regulated documentation ownership. Lab coordinator works cross-functionally to support customer needs and partners with existing labs on enterprise initiatives.
Documents software development and/or test development by writing documents, reports, memos, change requests. Methods used are determined by approved procedures and standards
Continuously improves process and work methodologies by interfacing with peers/cross-functional groups and analyzing activities to improve workflow and work processes.
Maintains collaborative working relationship with enterprise IT business partners, IT services (database, data center, servers, desktop, networking, security), and software vendors, as needed.
Understands customer's business implications and incorporates understanding into technical and process improvement recommendations.
Researches and applies new technologies, development techniques and best practices by leveraging experience, industry contacts, seminars, and books.
In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.
Provides support for development, test, and production applications. Experience in application development methodologies.
2 - 4 Years with BS in Computer Science, MIS or related degree
0 - 2 Years with MS
Experience with software scripting (AutoIT)
Project Mgt and documentation
Experience/willingness to learn custom hardware components
Experience working in a regulated industry
Adaptability to new requests
