Looking for a mobile banking delivery manager for a nine month contract with extensions in southern Maine.
Combination of a technical delivery manager and project manager
Slightly more of a technical manager
Guide teams for solutions
Meeting with different teams
Coming up with initial plans
Tracking execution of project
Monthly variance analyst
Scope, cost, and schedule
Has a team of delivery managers currently
Mobile Delivery Manager
Manage day to day mobile project activities of medium complexity or larger complex projects. Provide oversight/guidance to other delivery managers. Plan, execute, control and close out project against defined scope and budget. Utilize accepted standards and procedures. Maintain team relationships and team coaching and development. Manage stakeholder expectations. Manage risk and ensure compliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for the oversight and execution of several medium complexity projects.
Key accountabilities are:
Accountability for project budget and time lines
Works autonomously in the management of the unit and collaborates with other business heads to establish and execute on common goals.
Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project.
Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project.
Manages activities of high/medium complexity projects.
Ensures delivery of projects to the business partner, meeting the approved scope/cost/schedule/quality for the project.
Perform a governing role for, ensuring that the proposal, execution, control, deployment, training and hand off, warranty support, and closure to meet schedules.
Management of small to large projects (ranging in size from $400K to $3M), including multiple internal applications and external vendors.
Estimation and planning, risk assessment, contingency planning, tracking and management of progress, issues, budget, risk and resources.
Familiar with the OMNI Channel concept
Proven leadership skills and experience managing IT projects
Ability to manage numerous competing demands
Full life cycle development experience
Experience with Iterative/Agile methodologies
Outstanding communication skills, analytical aptitude, client focus, problem solving skills and technical initiative
Knowledge of mobile technologies, RESTful services, databases, system integration skills, SDLC
Experience with proven project methodology tools
PMI, ITIL, and/or Agile certifications
Expertise in MS Project, Excel, Visio and Powerpoint
