Large international law firm seeks HR generalist for Palo Alto office:

Want to work for a firm that values employee input and collaboration? Our client is looking to hire a Human Resource Generalist responsible for performing HR related initiatives that align, support and drive their culture; including but not limited to benefits administration, on-boarding, wellness, recruitment and affirmative action. Candidate must be current on HR labor law requirements and regulations to ensure HR compliance and be trusted to maintain strict confidentially of company and personnel information.

What you can expect as the major duties and responsibilities:

  • Perform benefits administration to include plan design, contract negotiation, claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment and communicating benefit information to employees

  • Administers corporate wellness program and initiatives

  • Develops and maintains affirmative action program and file EEO-1 reports annually

  • Conducts recruitment efforts for exempt and nonexempt positions, conducts orientation, and writes and places advertisements

  • Co-develop on-boarding process and collaborate with HR team to create on-boarding toolkit

  • Administers various procedures and assists in the development and implementation of policies and procedures You may be a good fit if you have these skills and qualifications:

  • A Bachelor s degree in Human Resource Management and/OR five plus years human resources experience, or a Master s degree in Human Resource Management and two years experience in the HR field

  • Self-funded Benefits Administration experience preferred

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

  • Ability to work independently and in a team with a desire to learn, contribute and succeed
