DescriptionOne of our reputable Legal Clients has an immediate opening for a Paralegal in their Downtown Orlando office!

Specific duties include the following:

Investigate the facts of a case

Prepare case summaries and pleadings

Conduct research on relevant laws, regulations, and legal articles

Organize and maintain documents in a paper or electronic filing systems

Gather and arrange evidence and other legal documents for attorney review and case preparation

Write reports to help lawyers prepare for trials

Draft correspondence and legal documents, such as contracts and mortgages

Get affidavits and other formal statements that may be used as evidence in court

Help lawyers during trials by handling exhibits, taking notes, or reviewing trial transcripts

File exhibits, briefs, appeals and other legal documents with the court or opposing counsel

Call clients, witnesses, lawyers, and outside vendors to schedule interviews, meetings, and depositions

Working hours: Standard Business Hours/ Mon - Fri


High school diploma or GED with 1-3 years of related experience.

Previous experience in a law firm environment required.

High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office, including a working knowledge of Excel.

Demonstrated capacity to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Ability to organize work flow, utilize time efficiently, show great attention to detail and perform at a high level in a fast paced ever changing work environment.

Anticipate work needs and follow through with minimum direction.

High interpersonal communication skills necessary in order to maintain effective relationships with attorneys and staff, as well as external contacts, in person, by e-mail and telephone.
