DescriptionOur client, a global, well-known beauty company is seeking a Photography Planning/Retouching Coordinator to assist with one of their most prestigious brands in New York, NY!

Manages independently the planning of photography and comps production for new product icons, Travel Retail Packaging/ In-flights, Gift with Purchase and Holiday/Saleable packaging. (500+shots per year) Produces comprehensive photo/retouching status report to track all global projects and reviews at weekly photo status meetings. Drives agenda for these meetings. Supports Assistant Manager in the retouching process for new product icons, Travel Retail Packaging/In-flights and Holiday/Saleable packaging. Advises on global deco variants and provides necessary shades/targets. Oversees coordinator in execution of all non-photography comps requests for Innovation, Strategy Retailer meetings and China Registration. Manages compliance with estimates and budget.


Liaises with Assistant Manager of Photo Planning, Art Buyers, Designers, Creative Operations, Marketing, Product Development, Corporate Packaging Development, and Global Supply Chain and Photographers and Retouching Team. Routes product comps and models for approvals prior to shoot, Attends photo shoot: Reviews detail with Studio Managers and Photographers. Ensures all shots are captured and accurate, Maintains and improves vendor relations, Facilitates costs to maintain fiscal budget requirements and corporate pricing structure, Writes and submits work orders which provide detailed direction, Packs and ships all components needed for comp production, Troubleshoots any technical difficulties and follows-up to ensure accuracy and delivery dates, Maintains Colour Bible: Acquires final product names, product and shades. Pulls CMYK chips to colour match products with shades. Routes CMYK approval form through Product Development. Inputs information into Colour Bible and converts to HEX value for digital purposes.

Working hours: Monday - Friday 9AM - 5PM



--College Degree, with 2 years of related experience

--Excellent organizational, communication and multi-tasking skills. Attention to Detail a must.

--Knowledge of photography, retouching and creative process helpful

--Computer Skills: MS Office, basic skills in CS3 - Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign and File maker Pro
