DescriptionThe Compensation & Benefits Specialist works closely with the SVP, Human Resources on the development and implementation of a company-wide compensation strategy. The Compensation & Benefits Specialist also manages global compensation and international benefit plans/programs. The Compensation & Benefits Specialist reports directly into the SVP, Human Resources. This role partners with external consultants/vendors and collaborates with other departments such as tax, legal/compliance and finance/treasury to ensure that all programs support the organization's strategic objectives, are competitive, cost effective and in compliance with legal requirements.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
--Benefits Strategy and Plan Design - Coordinate the evaluation/benchmarking, design and implementation of global benefit plans, programs, renewals, changes, and make recommendations in line with the organization's business and total rewards strategy; Contract with and actively manage benefit plan vendors, auditors, and consultants for services, premiums, and plan administration.
--Broad-based Compensation Programs - Analyze compensation plans and programs to determine market competitiveness, ease of administration and alignment with business strategy; Design and implementation of broad-based compensation plans/programs in compliance with legal, federal, state and regulatory requirements; Assist in the development of legally required and other reporting documents including disclosures.
--Salary Planning & Reviews - Manage annual compensation cycle including determining annual market pay guidelines and wage increase budgets to ensure sufficient funding, preparing and disseminating annual compensation planning toolkits and guidelines, developing reports summarizing salary actions and employee positioning relative to salary structures, coordinating with Payroll and HR Systems to ensure timely processing of salary adjustments and calculating payouts etc. ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: --Global Mobility - Develop global mobility programs, policies and procedures; Work with appropriate parties to determine legal and tax impact of global mobility programs and policies; Maintain close communication with employees on global mobility programs and provide support in collaboration with other HR team members as applicable etc.
--Employee Recognition - Design employee recognition program, policies and procedures; interface with and manage work of third party employee recognition vendors; interpret metrics and analytics related to health and wellness programs etc.
