The Strategy and Operations Tools team is responsible for driving the tools roadmap and landscape for the SMB division in Google Ads. Our team is tasked with delivering user satisfaction, efficiency savings, and incremental revenue opportunities to our sales teams via tooling.

As a Data administrator you will partner closer with Product Management, Engineering, Sales Operations, and Sales across SMB and own access and feedback management for our enterprise-grade CRM platform and an array of other support tools in our landscape.

Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you will work to improve processes and drive the efficient administration of our tools and systems. If you are a resourceful and independent self-starter, who is always looking for areas to improve, then this job is for you. If you are someone who is able to join a new project, quickly understand the priorities and identify any gaps and use his/her organizational, execution and strong communication skills to bridge the gap, then this role is a great fit. You are expected to bring project management techniques to the table to help accelerate the pace of development and delivery.

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities

  1. Manage our feedback/ issue management processes per defined protocol including, management of tags, tagging individual items by feature track, correcting misscategorised bug reports and other maintenance tasks for feedback queue.

  2. Work as a member of a team, jumping in to help resolve issues and contribute to the success of the project and team.

  3. Contribute to design reviews, oversee the testing and release process

Additional Responsibilities

  • Manage competing priorities to keep the team on track to deliver high quality releases

  • Build and develop strong relationships with internal partners and clients

  • Design and implement build processes that help teams scale


  • BS or related technical/quantitative field

  • 3 years system/data administration experience

  • Strong analytical, data analysis, and problem-solving skills - (SQL skills strong plus)

  • 3 years of experienced in managing large scale cross functional/cross region projects with various frontend and backend technologies
