Tell me about your department:

This role is a developer on the Release Services team who maintains our QA/Stage environments in Dotcom. Will be responsible for deploying changes to production as well as maintaining the QA stage environment. Will work with the production support team helping with the build and deploy tasks. Looking for development experience to look into the code and help with production issues. Mid-level developer with Java experience. Will not be managing or leading other developers.

Position Overview:

Responsibilities/Deliverables that the resource will be responsible for:

  • Resolving code related exceptions

  • Identifying the code team responsible for issues

  • Helping work through performance issues

  • Build and deploy scripts - maintaining and managing those using Jenkins

  • Working with broader release teams to ensure all issues are being addressed

Skills Overview:

  • Java Build and Deployment Experience

  • Java Application Server (Jboss, tomcat or Similar) Experience

  • Apache or related Web server experience

  • Java Application Integration Knowledge, JMS and Web sphere Messaging Queue

  • Continuous Integration and Delivery Experience - Must have Jenkins

  • Java App Deployment Tools - ant and maven

  • Chef or Puppet provisioning and automation experience
