Project Description:

In this role, they will be a critical member of the team building the foundation for the UWOX platform.

Position Overview:

Responsibilities/Deliverables that the resource will be responsible for:

  • Validate, prioritize and document the functional requirements for the Automation Tool.

  • Proactively communicate, collaborate and negotiate with customers to analyze their team needs.

  • Optimize and improve requirement management processes based on best practices.

  • Coordinate testing with teams, and analyze and document test results.

  • Write user stories and get it reviewed with the product owner

  • Act as Scrum master to host everyday stand-ups, sprint planning, release planning, present demos and gather feedback.

  • Prioritize the requirements along with Product owner by help gathering, providing and assessing data points for requirements.

  • Lead internal review sessions to discuss issues and questions related to requirements documentation; work with other Product/Project teams to review and resolve issues.

  • Ensures deadlines are met by facilitating resource planning, organizing, and prioritizing. Keeps management and key stakeholders well informed on a timely basis on project progress, status and/or concerns for each assignment.

  • Supports resources with bandwidth/workload prioritization and escalates to manager when bandwidth levels are being over indexed.

  • Works with deployment team to ensure changes are migrated into production successfully and adhere to deployment team s processes.

  • Works with technical team to develop project cost estimates and resource plans.

  • Works with other Product and Project teams to align timelines.

  • Provide weekly status communication to Program and Leadership team.

This role must effectively partner across teams with various staffing models of internal and external resources in order to deliver successful solutions. The successful candidate must have experience in multiple system delivery lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.

Skills Overview:

What are the MUST have skills that you are looking for in a candidate?

  • Bachelor s or advanced degree in IT, Computer Science, business or related field

  • 5 or more years of experience with increasing responsibilities in the following areas, with demonstrated progression of responsibilities:

  • Experience as a Business Analyst.

  • Retail/e-commerce domain knowledge.

  • Writing requirements for large system integration projects

  • System integration and/or application implementation and support.

  • Validating system behavior against requirements.

  • Working with cross-functional teams across the enterprise.

  • Working in a large corporate environment.

  • Experience with various development methodologies.

  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environment is a plus.
