Laboratory technician

Scope of Responsibility:

Implementation of scientific laboratory/kitchen onsite at the Milwaukee Teutonia facility to support creation of custom products for our clients researchers.

Purpose of the Position:

Primarily responsible for understanding customer requirements and developing custom products and procedures for the program. The role is responsible for production of product, order management, inventory control and maintenance, raw material procurement, shipping coordination, administrative duties create and maintain calibration logs, and any other requirement assigned by manager.

Working hours: Monday-Friday, 9-5


Essential Job Functions:

--Production of custom solutions

--Responsible for procedures and guidelines that must be sustained to provide quality product to customers

--Reviews and processes customer orders within project timeline

--Adheres to procedures for supplying the laboratory with raw materials

--Manages the order process from inception to deliver to the customers.

--Execute tasks with high accuracy

--Document work and results accurately in a traceable manner

--Maintain departmental databases

--Knowledge of quality management systems including ISO 9000 and cGMP/GLP

--Execute all work functions in a safe manner, and take necessary actions to resolve any unsafe work conditions

--Promotes process improvement and recommendations as required

--Performs other tasks as assigned by manager

Basic Qualifications


Associates degree in life science, chemistry or related field with a minimum of one year experience in cell culture and or biology manufacturing environment or equivalent education and experience

-Preferred: Bachelor's degree in cell biology, chemistry or related field


1 year experience in a laboratory production setting or related field
