Our client located in Mesa, an insurance company is seeking a Contract Commercial Lines Account Manager. This position is covering a medical absence however for the right candidate they are open to creating a role with in the company. This is an immediate need for the client. The commercial lines account manager will assist in the production of new accounts and the retention of existing accounts. The commercial lines account manager will provide prompt, efficient, high quality service to designated account.

The responsibilities of the Commercial Lines account manager are:

  • Responsible for gathering the information and risk management recommendations for the renewal of accounts 60 days prior to renewal and delivering the binders as needed.

  • Conduct periodic service calls

  • Perform special projects at the request of clients for example binder and/or policy or endorsement requests

  • Maintains a concern for the timeliness completeness when interacting with customers, agency and company personnel to minimize potential errors.

  • Reviews renewals to determine if non-standard policies can be rewritten in a standard program. Prepares and writes applications for business through companies no longer represented.

  • Receives phone calls and office visitors requesting quotes, changes to existing coverage and/or new policies

+Handles premium collection through form letters and request policy cancellation as necessary

  • Follows up on outstanding claims and provides assistance and resolution when needed

  • Documents all material conversations regarding exposures and coverages

Working hours: 8 am - 5 pm


The knowledge and skills required to be successful in this commercial lines account manager role are:

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in the insurance industry

  • 2 years experience dealing with insurance portfolios

  • Proficiency with Microsoft office suites
