Randstad UX Designer in Los Angeles, California
location:Los Angeles, CA

We are looking for a talented, passionate, detail-oriented User Experience Designer. The UX Designer will work collaboratively as part of a design team to create systems and frameworks to organize information and help users understand how our software applications work and behave.
USER EXPERIENCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Use a wide range of general, industry, and site-specific research inputs to develop a user-centered plan for design and features.
Develop a thorough understanding of business and end user needs. Conduct stakeholder interviews to determine objectives and help streamline online and offline business processes.
Employ a variety of user research techniques to bring new insights into how consumers think about the online automobile purchasing and financing process. Work collaboratively to translate business requirements, user goals and creative strategy into engaging experiences.
Observe, conduct and analyze qualitative and quantitative user research, such as focus groups, interviews and surveys. Design and conduct user testing including prototype and post-launch evaluation. Clearly and concisely communicate impactful findings to clients, designers, engineers, and other project stakeholders.
Create and refine necessary documentation to develop user experience and provide needed deliverables to other project members, such as content inventories, heuristic evaluations, task analysis, CMS content models, user scenarios, site maps, wireframes, clickable prototypes, business and functional requirements.
Maintain awareness of evolving UX standards and best practices while continually seeking to innovate and revolutionize processes and deliverables that lead to internal efficiencies as well as client satisfaction. Be an ambassador advocating for the user and UX Research within the company and industry.
This is a hands-on role. You will work with business stakeholders and consumers to conceptualize requirements and you will drive the design process and create your own wireframes and mockups.
This is a crossover role. Your UX background is essential, and you will work directly with engineers and participate in the entire product development life-cycle - from conception, to design, build, QA, and release.
Startup Environment: You will be expected to hustle at times, to improvise when necessary, be creative and to deliver under tight (at times) timelines. You will deliver in an Agile, iterative manner.
This is a collaborative role. You will spend time reviewing, critiquing, supporting, and lending feedback to others and their work. Other team members will return the favor when it comes to you and your work - duly considering and incorporating this feedback is essential to your responsibilities.
