Job Description: Provide front-line phone customer service to policyholders, beneficiaries, agents and internal customers. Ensure customer satisfaction and strive to ensure service standards are met. Field 75-100 calls daily. Communicate effectively and professionally with both internal and external customers to resolve questions and issues. Develop and maintain a solid working knowledge of the insurance industry and all products, services and processes performed by the team. Collaborate with management or other team members as appropriate to proactively address service issues and concerns. Required schedule availability for this position is Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m. Candidates must be flexible to stay as late as 7:00 pm if needed. Must meet and maintain quality standards, adherence metrics, average handle time, average seconds to answer and other call center metrics. Work as a team to meet client service level agreements
Role Responsibilities: Answer incoming calls from policyholders, beneficiaries, agents and internal customers. A typical day can involve fielding between 75-100 calls. Work together with teammates and leaders on questions to help resolve issues. Effectively communicate with the caller, teammates, processing and client. Work Monday-Friday between 7 a.m.- 7 p.m. (8 am - 6 pm initially).

Working hours: 8AM to 5PM
One to two years of previous customer service based experience required (customer service experience could be face to face, but phone based experience is preferred).
Must be able to communicate effectively (both verbal and written) and provide professional customer service.
Must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business communications. Must be able to compose effective business correspondence.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Must have good keyboarding skills.
Typing test of 35-40 wpm
Ability to problem-solve and manage multiple priorities.
The physical elements of this position require the ability to sit at a desk for extended periods of time, use a computer for extended periods of time, and use the telephone to communicate with customers 100% of the day.
High school education or GED required.
