Specialist-Document Control

Position Description

  • This position is a temporary position to assist with the Client Quality System Requirement Integration and Migrations.

  • This employee will work to support the Technical Services organization integrate and migrate to Client Quality System Requirements

Position Responsibilities

  • The employee will work to support three main projects and other activities, as assigned.

  • The three key projects include

PQS Integration: The employee will assess Client Quality Standard to determine impact on the Technical Services organization (employees - via procedures and / or training).

  • Each impact assessment will be documented via a Client CAS Report (Compliance-Analysis-Status).

  • The employee will be responsible for writing new local operating procedures and/or revising existing operating procedures to ensure overall alignment and compliance with the client requirements.

  • Impacted Tech Services employees will then complete training on the procedures for overall alignment.

  • The employee must track status of each Quality Standard issued by the Quality Team and communicate with the following employees / areas throughout the process: Quality Team members, Subject Matter Experts, Training Coordinator, Document Control Specialist, Site Point-of-Contact and Quality throughout the process. -

  • PLS Migration: The employee will work with others on creating and executing a migration plan to move all Technical Services training system requirements for the functional areas supported from ISO train to PLS.

  • The individual will be responsible for data review, cleansing, and verification.

  • Migration includes all Technical Services employees and Technical Services and Global Metro logy procedures, courses and modules.

  • PDOCs migration: Employee will support the migration of all Technical Services and Global Metro logy procedures from SAP to PDOCs.

  • Employee will be responsible for review and verification of documents and creation of links within PLS for required training.

  • Employee will also assist Document Control Coordinators with processing of required changes to approved operating procedures.

Skills Required

  • Employee must have excellent writing skills.

  • Ability to understand Quality Requirements and determine impact on an organization.

  • ISO train and SAP Learning (Plateau / Success Factors) experience (electronic training / tracking system)

  • Electronic Change Management Experience: SAP and PDOCs (Documentum) system experience

  • Education: Associate Degree Required. Bachelor s Degree Desired.

  • Experience: Minimum of 2-4 Years

  • Training Administration using an electronic learning / training management

  • System ISO train and SAP Learning experience.

  • Review and interpret quality system requirements; determine overall impact to an organization

  • Technical writing; writing operating procedures.

  • Electronic change management experience, Documentum and SAP experience, highly desired.

  • Written and verbal o Solid individual contributor and ability to work in a team environment.

  • Ability to work under lead s direction and have the ability to lead when required

  • Basic project management skills o High attention to detail, multi-tasking required
