One of the most innovative companies in the agricultural industry is seeking an experienced ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT who is able to work now at their Jerseyville, IL facility and in 2017 transfer to their new Hazelwood, MO facility.

These work sites complete plant research and seed packaging. The qualified candidate will work directly with the operations associates onsite to providing the necessary administrative and office support:

- Complex calendar management, meeting planning, travel coordination & other general administrative duties

- Process purchase orders utilizing SAP and SharePoint

- Perform on-boarding/off-boarding tasks associated with direct and temporary employees working at these facilities

- Order and inventory office supplies

- Greet and assist guests, answer phones and keep office space tidy and well-organized

- Self-directed; Independent decision making and able to work with little supervision or direction

Details: Full-time, temporary/contract assignment approved for 4 months with likelihood of extension for 1 year. Work schedule will be Monday-Friday business hours with the potential for overtime during peak seasons. Pay rate range based on experience: $15.00 - 20.00/hour

Must be able to start by November 7, 2016**Interviews to begin immediately**


--5+ years of Administrative experience with a history of delivering high quality results

--Must have good MS Office skills to schedule meetings within Outlook, work on projects in Excel and assist with daily office tasks

--High integrity, ethical, with ability to act with discretion in sensitive matters

--Excellent time management and problem-solving skills

--Excellent organization, creative thinking and analytical skills

--Ability to effectively partner with and communicate with a diverse group of colleagues

--Ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge to improving systems and processes to help the organization work more efficiently

--Previous experience processing purchase orders, ideally utilizing SAP

--Requires an Associate Degree or higher
