DescriptionRandstad is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the management staff of an Ecommerce facility. We are looking for an individual who is efficient and comfortable being a member of a team. The ability to multi-task, while assuring a steady completion of workload in a timely manner is key to success in this position.

The administrative assistant could be assigned to operate under anyone from the management team, may be required to handle numerous responsibilities or focus on just three or four peculiar tasks. The job description of an administrative assistant also includes making daily appointments of the manager, getting all the important documents signed from the immediate manager, and preparing daily reports.

Basic Duties & Skills

The main responsibility is to keep their place of employment running smoothly, thus all of their duties relate back to the operational proceedings of the facility. These duties may include scheduling meetings, answering phones, managing databases, disseminating information (through email and internal memos), creating spreadsheets, generating reports, ordering equipment, and working with vendors.

Administrative Assistant Job Responsibilities

- Provide complete support to the management team

- Compile and generate reports and other documents related to various departments

- Prepare presentations

- Arrange meetings

- Help to prepare the agendas before meetings and distribute as needed to the staff members who are attending the meeting

- Attend and take minutes at meetings

- Schedule appointments and update office calendars

- Perform clerical tasks

- Respond to questions and requests for information

- Maintain databases and filing systems, whether electronic or paper

- Conduct research

- Greet and interact with visitors

- Liaise with candidates for employment

- Log and distribute resumes

- Schedule interviews


High school diploma is a must

Proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel

Previous administrative experience
