Excellent opportunity for a seasoned middleware Systems Administrator with experience in WSO2 management / administration.

Under broad direction, assists in supervising other systems administrators and provides basic job training and guidance on a regular basis. Applies change management processes to install and maintain the company s infrastructure systems by installing, tuning, and patching operating system and application software under established guidelines. Assesses and resolves server and network issues via the Trouble Ticket process and utilizes appropriate vendor and site contacts as necessary. Coordinates with the server architecture team and disseminates relevant information to the group. Supervises others; allocates and monitors work, coordinates similar activities within a functional area. Interprets and applies directions originating at a higher level. Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations. Skills are typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree in an IT related discipline or equivalent related work experience and 6 years of experience in systems administration which includes experience in a corporate IT environment. Leadership and team building training desired.


Maintain, enhance, and support WSO2 Products such as Identity Management, API Manager, API Gateway, Business Activity Monitor, and the Enterprise Service Bus.

  • Provide secondary support for other products supported by the administrative team such as PowerCenter, MDM, Play framework, B2B, OBIEE, Tableau and SAS.

Required Skills / Experience:

  • Five years of progressive IT experience required with two years of experience administering Middleware Business Intelligence or Data Warehousing solutions preferred

  • WS02 administrative experience required

  • Administrative experience with PowerCenter, MDM, B2B, OBIEE, SAS or Tableau preferred

  • Experience in RHEL environment

  • Experience configuring JBoss, Apache server, and proxy server

  • Experience with managing multiple applications and understanding the additional tasks associated to support these applications (example log rotate, monitoring, etc.)

  • Experience with some programming languages like Java, Scala, Python, and bash scripting

Candidates should also possess strong verbal and written communication skills, be results-oriented and able to work across the organization as an individual contributor

Should be comfortable working in a rapidly transforming organization, have proficient knowledge of project management and strong organizational skills, as well as excellent customer service skills

The successful candidate will also have strong interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts and have the ability to deliver consistent, high quality, cost effective service by handling routine, as well as some non-routine, systems issues

Must also be willing to work with new technology (docker, play framework, Ansible) and have an always-learning attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement.
