Randstad Professionals is currently networking with a large, public client here in the Richmond area that is in search for a Payroll Manager.
This talented individual would play a pivotal role in the development, implementation, maintenance, and support of the systems and databases used on a daily basis in the Payroll Department. This position offers great benefits and a good work/life balance with a reputable company, known nation-wide.
Ability and experience in leading a group of professionals in development, testing, enhancement, and evaluation of systems and databases.
Manage and develop a team through timely performance feedback, development plans, and business objective reviews.
Serve as payroll subject matter expert in projects that impact the payroll team.
Lead a team to gather and analyze data pertaining to payroll.
Ensure the proper documentation and maintenance of the payroll process.
Train, develop, and promote other professionals for the needs of the organization.
Proficiency in Microsoft Access.
Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, or Information Technology OR related business experience.
5 or more years experience in IT or in an administration HR/Payroll position.
CPP or FPC is preferred.?
Experience with implementation of payroll systems.
Advanced Excel and Access skills.
Experience with SQL Data manipulation.
