Worldwide leader in the manufacture of industrial machinery seeks a SERVICE MANAGER for its GREENVILLE, SC operations. The SERVICE MANAGER provides operational support and direction for the Service group, while developing strong working relationships with key customers, building a proactive environment to drive service growth. Responsibilities for the Service Manager

  • Improve and standardize operational processes within the service organization to meet annual growth and budgetary requirements.

  • Manage all service related business with P&L responsibility, including: service sales revenue, direct and indirect service costs, and operating income.

  • Build and maintain a strong service organization on par with a best in class equipment provider to align the company as a long term business partner to its customer base

  • Refine equipment predictive and preventive maintenance programs that drive service revenue growth through using effective scheduling to drive repeatable service revenue.

Requirements for the Service Manager

  • Bachelor s degree AND / OR equivalent Service Manager related experience required

  • Solid understanding of electrical/mechanical/engineering KSA s and how to apply these to the servicing of application / industrial machinery.

  • Strong leadership, team building, and advanced coaching skills

  • Ability to travel 25-40%
