The Lead Data Integration Support Engineer works under general supervision. The position interacts with a manager as needed to receive guidance and feedback; many non-routine activities will require a manager s advance approval. The Lead Data Integration Support Engineer functions as part of the Enterprise Information Management group and is responsible for supporting integrations on all platforms and technologies (SSIS, Informatica, Terradata, Oracle, SQL Server, Hadoop, Vertica, Pervasive...etc).
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage offshore production support team
Guide and mentor local, on-shore and off-shore integration support teams in all aspects of Data Integration production support including ETL, data movement, data replication, and data distribution
Develop and produce support documentations
Provide technical leadership for solution development and review with regard to data integration incidents and service requests
Develop and drive the review / approval of data integration specific Solution Definitions through the enterprise architecture review process.
Collaborate with the data modelers, business intelligence architects, business analysts, and data subject matter experts to enforce integration standards and best practices before deploying to production
Collaborate closely with Enterprise Architecture to ensure alignment of the EDW, CDW, ODS and Master Data Management to ensure proper integration of data across the entire enterprise.
Perform code reviews and audits to ensure design objectives are met and standards are followed in the Data Integrations
Being a dedicated student of data integration technologies, recommending key technologies, features and toolsets to use.
Identify and document any procedural gaps that may exist and propose solutions
Assist with other information technology projects, as assigned, within the general scope of regularly assigned responsibilities and related qualifications.

BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE)
An accredited Bachelor s degree in computer science, information technology, or related technology-based discipline required·
At least 7 years of professional IT/Engineering experience required with demonstrated development and design experience of application and data integrations
At least 5 years and database integration experience required using one or more of the following tools: SSIS, Informatica, Snaplogic
Must be able to work flexible hours as projects demand
Data Warehousing and BI experience preferred
Hadoop development experience is a plus
Teradata development experience preferred
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES
Expert knowledge with 5+ years of data integration experience of multiple toolsets (SSIS, Informatica, Hadoop, etc...) knowledge of when best to use a technology.
Working knowledge developing in Hadoop environments
Expert database knowledge on a variety of platforms (SQL, Oracle, Pervasive, DB2, MySQL)
Working knowledge of cloud technology (Amazon, Terradata)
Expert knowledge working in both OLTP and OLAP environments
Working knowledge of OS s, network technologies and AD.
Proficient in creating functional project documentation (FRD, Sequence Diagram, Source to Target, etc)
Expert in applying and enforcing Data Integration best practices
Ability to exchange ideas and communicate effectively with others of varying technological knowledge using written and spoken English
Ability to respond to related business needs as required during non-traditional, "on call" hours
