The Project Engineer for the company and its principals have a diverse range of experience providing General Contracting. The ability to adapt and overcome defines this company as a company that is flexible, proactively communicates with project participants, and delivers value. The construction team possesses expertise and experience in general contracting, coupled with the knowledge and business acumen of credentialed professionals. During pre-construction and construction phases we assist owners, developers and institutions to better manage their projects.

Responsibilities for the Project Engineer

  • Act as a liaison and coordinate between the Owners, Architects, Engineers, consultants, inspectors, and Sub-Contractors.

  • Maintain, manage, and write RFI, Submittal, Quality Assurance/Control, and scheduling systems.

  • Participate and produce effective project team meetings by documenting issues and solutions that come up, developing and critical action items list.

  • May have to clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards along with occasionally lifting 25-75 pounds.

  • Maintain and review responses from designers, consultants and determine the validity of the proper coordination of the RFI Logs, Permit Logs, Plan Index, Inspection reports etc.)

  • Monitor and document job progress and job site Safety and Accident Prevention.

Requirements for the Project Engineer

  • Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering Preferred OR equivalent work experience.

  • Minimum of 2 years construction (residential or commercial) experience.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Projects), Suretrack, or Primavera

  • Team oriented, strong verbal, organizational, written, communication, and interpersonal skills.
