Looking for a Release Analyst that comes with a strong SDLC process background. Candidate needs to show ability to work within constant change and rapid technology release schedules. Will be touching multiple lines of business. Candidate will be tracking and managing new technology releases throughout the life cycle and to launch.

Located in Morris County, NJ

Must have familiarity working in a fast-paced environment.

Flexible schedule is necessary. Technology release windows fall during 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Day to day functionality consists of:

  • Tracking projects though SDLC

  • Organize with Project teams, Technical teams and business sponsors in identifying go lives dates of new technology and updates of current technology.

  • Coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion.

  • Forward Plan the release windows and cycles across the Enterprise

  • Manage risks and resolves issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality

  • Measure and monitor progress to ensure releases are delivered on time, and that they meet or exceed expectations

  • Coordinate release content and effort based on the service request backlog, pending service requests, third party applications, or operating system updates

  • Communicate all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, QA plans, schedule, and scope changes

  • Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams in different locations

  • Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, Deployment/Back Out Plan and Business Go/No-Go reviews

  • Create RFCs/eRFC (Request for Change)

  • Produce Deployment, Back Out and Implementation Plans

  • Weekly Release Reporting

  • Communicate release details and schedules to the Business as required

  • Negotiate, plan and manage all release activities

  • Work with Build Manager to understand impacts of branches and code merges

  • Continually work towards making improvements in the release process

  • Lead and co-ordinate the Go-Live activities including the execution of the Deployment Plans and checklists during Maintenance Windows (11pm - 6am, Friday - Saturday)

  • Participate in CAB meetings to discuss release scope and/or roadblocks

Maintains a release repository and manages key information such as Release Trackers, HPSM Ticket Tracking, IQ/OQ Plans, Release Check List
