Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Product Management, this position business unit ensure its products deliver value to our SMB (Small Medium Business) customer s success/satisfaction while enabling new revenue growth, retention and adoption. This position is responsible for working cross-functionally to fully define and execute a product roadmap focused around vertical solutions (i.e. legal, accounting, or healthcare) and delivering customer excellence. Responsibilities include driving vision, producing roadmaps, prioritizing initiatives and helping articulate features and benefits to the greater organization.

Ideal candidates should have a strong sense of customer/user empathy, a unique mix of business, technical and operational savvy, as well as a strong drive to understand the challenges of the target market, the competitive landscape and to specify differentiating characteristics that make our products the solutions of choice. They will possess the necessary business acumen to prioritize initiatives married with the ability to create alignment across the organization on product strategy.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Drive file sharing and document workflow product roadmap for SMB features including vertical solutions, user experience, administration, security and compliance.

  • Work with internal development teams and development leaders to articulate requirements, project plans and drive timely execution towards launch.

  • Integrate usability studies, customer feedback, research and market analysis into feature specs / user stories to enhance user satisfaction

  • Validate product plans against research results and assist making informed recommendations regarding roadmap to Sr. management.

  • Manage stakeholders expectations by communicating the product vision in relation to the business strat

  • Conduct market validation activities as directed, such as customer prospect interviews and market analysis as part of new product or feature planning.

  • Additional Responsibilities:

  • Drive a data-driven process of analyzing new features and sharing that data

  • Define, monitor and react to key product metrics

  • Support the customer base with escalations and customer elevated issues.

  • Develop a deep and broad understanding of the product technologies and vertical solutions.

  • Assist in strategic initiatives to place decision making close to the customer, using feedback to inform tactical and strategic decisions.

  • Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in business and/or technology or related field(s).

  • 3+ years experience in software Product Management, SaaS experience preferred.

  • Experience with management of product life cycle.

  • Strong empathy for customers

  • Proven ability to lead teams and wo

  • rk cross-functionally in a highly collaborative environment

  • Experience working with teams that employ agile software development methodologies

  • Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple projects.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Experience presenting to both internal and external audiences

  • Ability to document research findings and product requirements for both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Experience in defining, tracking, and improving key product metrics

  • Develop strong, independent problem solving skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, yet able to work independently

  • Pragmatic Marketing training preferred.

  • Legal or Accounting industry knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities include developing business relationships with all levels of management within the College, University and select High School Districts, and training end users on technology products, that will advance the development of market solutions. You need to have sales experience selling any type of product into the education market with some technical expertise

Qualified Candidates will have:

  • BA Degree

  • 5 years experience, with a strong technical background, developing accounts and selling project-based, hardware and/or software systems solutions

  • Knowledge of procurement policies, information technology procurement needs, and facilities management within a large organization

  • Perform initial technical phone support for Audio and AV related products. (training will be provided)

  • Follow up and engage education market end users on , support requests, product pricing information, trade-show follow up, system design and literature requests.

  • Experience working within a Higher Education environment a plus

  • Expertise in AV or electronics industries is a plus

  • Travel Required

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Strong attention to detail, highly organized, computer literate

  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced professional office environment
