We are looking to fill an immediate need for a Licensing Clerk in a service center department.


Responsible for processing routine producer/agent/broker/corporate applications, registrations, contracting, appointment renewals and cancellations, and/or maintenance requests, while adhering to state, federal, and internal compliance regulations. As well as daily reports that work in compliance of the above daily duties for any that have hit error report or feeds for changes that have occurred.


Process onboarding requests from independent agencies and agents

Validate that agencies and agents hold proper state insurance licenses and broker dealer registrations.

File appointments and appointment terminations with appropriate state departments of insurance.

Assist agencies and agents in obtaining first-time insurance licenses by completing insurance company sponsorship requirements.

Enter and maintain agency and agent demographic, license, appointment and registration information in a producer database.

Respond to phone and mail inquiries from agencies and agents pertaining to onboarding and appointment requests.

Processing and auditing Form MU-4 applications, renewals and cancellation notices for registered representative registrations and agent state licensing.

Initiate FINRA background investigations.

Implement licensing requirement updates based on changes in laws, regulations and broker/dealer policies.

Serve as a communication liaison between FINRA and state regulatory authorities to resolve licensing and registration issues.

Working hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm



High school studies. Undergraduate studies desirable. One to three years work experience in customer service and/or financial services
