We are currently in the midst of an application and database upgrade (#4). The PM would need to step into a project that is already in progress. The upgrade was migrated to UAT on July 24th and we are working through issues, The production migration is scheduled for late September. The upgrade must also be migrated to Canada and that piece is just starting. The PM would be working with vendors from the US and Canada and the Infrastructure teams at the client.
This PM would need to be very good at managing many projects with various deliverable dates (1, 2, 3). We have projects that range in length from a couple of weeks to 9 months to over a year. We can have 10 - 15 initiatives at once. This is in addition to the application upgrade we are currently doing. The PM would need to work with our Benefit Payments Tech-Ops Partners on scope, requirements and testing and with the BPP developers on project estimates.
The project manager is required to know MS products like word, excel, project, powerpoint, outlook, Sharepoint.
