We have a 1 year contract opportunity Power Applications Engineer in Chandler, AZ.
Assignment will be to on Power Integrity characterization and ensure the Power Integrity specifications are met for all the IP blocks. CW will be responsible for performing frequency domain and time domain characterization, along with the correlating the models. Will work closely with the Circuit Designers to get the on-chip collaterals including architectural details. Will work with the platform team to get the package/PCBs for the IP, and perform simulations for the correlations. CW will engage in developing common methodologies for Power Integrity. It includes on-chip power delivery, system Ievel Power Integrity, Signal-Power Integrity Co-analysis, etc. Assignment may include 10% domestic travel.
B.S. Electrical Engineering
3 years of experience in Power Integrity/ Signal Integrity designs and characterization for high speed systems.
Experience with measurement equipment such as Vector network analyzer, oscilloscope, and SMU is required
solid background in LDO characterization, transmission line theory, microwave network theory, electromagnetics and high speed circuit design aspect for Power/ signal Integrity.
experience in using either Synopsys, Sigrity, Agilent, Ansoft or Apache* for Signal/ Power Integrity Analysis.
