Telecoms Avaya Administrator

Enterprise infrastructure services is composed of three main groups, Helpdesk responsible for client side operations (Laptops, Desktops, Voice & Video), Operations team for corporate IT operations & Engineering team for architecture, evaluation and implementation of new technologies as per business requirements.

About the Job

Person will be part of Telco Operations team & will be responsible for Corporate IT Global Telco Infrastructure s Operation, Troubleshooting, Installation, Migration work.


? Provide on-going administration and Tier2 support of Corporate Telecommunications Infrastructure (Avaya & Cisco)

? Use our system resource utilization and monitoring tools to identify potential problem areas before they result in incidents.

? Should be willing to rack and cable equipment.

? Provide 24 x 5 x 365 support on a rotating on-call schedule.

Skills: Candidate should have 5+ years of technical experience in Avaya

Requires advanced level knowledge and understanding of architecture, applications, infrastructure, systems design and integrations


? Good Knowledge of Voice Networking Call Manager, VOIP, Application Networking, Voice Gateways, Gatekeepers, SIP,H323, IP telephony, Unity Voicemail and Unity connection.

? Routing Experience is an added advantage.

? Knowledge of Large/medium enterprise voice networking

? Knowledge on Avaya gateways will be mandatory

? Knowledge of Avaya Aura Communication Manager, System Manager and Session Manager

? Knowledge of supporting, troubleshooting and configuring media gateways ( G430 )

? Knowledge of Call Management System (CMS) for Call Center

? Knowledge of Application Enablement Service ( AES ) , ACD

? Experience in handling support cases with OEM / TAC support teams.

? Good understanding on relevant telecom Standards of ITU-T, IETF, RFC and Protocols including SIP, H.323, RTP.

? Good knowledge on SIP Trunking solutions that will integrate with Service provider SIP trunking solution

? Experience troubleshooting telecommunications equipment and technologies including TDM, T1, ISDN, VOIP Codec.



Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
