Temporary; 5-6 months
Randstad is currently working with a large hospital in the area to assist in a large medical records project. This will involve reconciling medical records, sorting and filing complete records, and analyzing specific information from them as needed. The ideal candidates will be hard-working, reliable, and have experience with hospital or medical records.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
-Investigates information regarding potential duplicates.
-Verify and correct patient information - personal and/or medical
-Regularly interact with department managers, physicians, or other offices as needed
-Verify discrepancies in MPI, and to identify which patients are not the same or which have inadequate information to merge.
-Data entry into Excel, as needed
-Assist in transitioning the correct medical records to EPIC
Working hours: Monday - Friday; 40.0 hours per week
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
-Experience in Healthcare, Medical Records, Health Information, or at a Hospital/Physician's office/Registration
-Excellent communication skills: written and verbal; great grammar and punctuation
-Experience/proficiency computer programs, such as Excel, Word and MS Access database software.
-Ability to reach, lift, bend, retrieve files and lift 10 lbs
