Seeking an IT Manager who will be responsible for the planning, coordination and completion of projects. Oversees all aspects of projects including resource management, setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, monitoring and controlling the project deliverables. Maintains overall ownership of the project by driving deliverables to completion. Builds and maintains working relationships with team members and other stakeholders involved in the projects. Manages project risks and prepares reports for senior management regarding status of project. Leads and directs project resources.
Lead the initiation, planning and execution of projects.
Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables.
Define project tasks and resource requirements.
Develop full scale project plans.
Manage project resource allocation.
Plan and schedule project timelines.
Track project deliverables using appropriate tools.
Provide direction and support to project team.
Consistently monitor and report on project progress to all stakeholders.
Present reports defining project progress, issues, risks, and solutions.
Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project resources and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
Collaborate with other IT teams and business partners.
10+ years of experience managing large IT systems/applications projects.
10+ years of Pharmaceutical industry experience required.
Enterprise IT/business applications experience required.
Application/Integration experience required.
PMP certification required/ Proficient with MS project.
Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Able to effectively present to C level executives.
Ability to communicate and collaborate with multiple IT teams on project work.
Good problem solving skills/strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and business relationship management skills.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/IS or equivalent experience.
